This is a Tibetan Buddhist chant to the Great Goddess Tara. She is a central Buddha and the only Female budda who vowed to return always in a female body to help liberate women. She has 21 aspects and 21 colors,each of which dispels a specific fear. Also worshipped by the Hindu's. Tara's name in Sanskrit is Sitara and the musical instrument the sitar, is literally the music of the stars. The similar sounding Latin word for earth,Terra is the root also connected to her as Great Mother of all things.
