Adra, which means “home,” is a song written and sung by the Welsh singer-songwriter Gwyneth Glyn. The lyrics begin with recalling a number of songs that talk about home that were written by others: Neil Young, John Denver, Lynyrd Skynyrd. The words then turn to the singer's own sense of carrying 'home' along with her wherever she goes. “I close my eyes and open my soul and follow the road of your voice… Home is very much like you.” So it is friendship, perhaps love, that creates a sense of home.
