Info about song
This is a collaboration between Dizzee Rascal and the American record producer Armand Van Helden. Rascal told MTV: "Armand approached me and sent me an email saying he wanted to work together. As soon as I heard the name I was on to it." (Source Bonkers Songfacts.) In Polish internet society this track is called 'pierdolnięcie', which means a big, powerful hit. It's taken its popularity and name from a comedy remake of movie about Adolf Hitler, where he's looking for a good party with electro music. Finally, he finds himself on a party where "Bonkers" is being played (it's wrongly taken as electro) and the beat of the music destroys a wall killing a lot of people. The party is called "The Last Boogie". Dizzee teamed up with hot house music producer and remixer Armand Van Helden to bring us 'Bonkers', which bounced it's way to the top spot in May 2009, following up last summer's No.1 collaboration with Calvin Harris' 'Dance Wiv Me'.
