"At This Moment" is a single that reached #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in January of 1987. Billy Vera & The Beaters originally recorded the song in 1981 during a string of performances at the Roxy in West Hollywood (January 15–17). The band featured the track their self-titled live album, Billy & the Beaters. The initial release of "At This Moment" failed to make a significant impact on the charts, peaking at #79 during the last quarter of 1981. Five years later, the song was used in an episode of popular television show 'Family Ties.' Popular demand and increased radio airplay led to a reissue of the single on the Rhino label. A few weeks later, the song became Vera's first and only #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also peaked at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Adult Contemporary charts. Read more on Last.fm.
