XCanaanX were a straight edge hardcore/metalcore band from Margate, UK that formed in 1999 and split in 2003. The band were well known on the UK Hardcore scene for their explosive live shows and straight-edge philosophy. Their first release "Gehenna Made Flesh"on Ignition Records was recorded in 2000 and recieved widespread acclaim in the scene for it's raw energy and brutal breakdowns.
