Trader Horne was a British folk duo formed in 1969 by the former Fairport Convention singer Judy Dyble and Jackie McAuley, who had been organist and guitarist with Them. Shortly before a performance in May 1970, Dyble decided to leave the band. Trader Horne briefly continued after Dyble's departure with her place taken by Saffron Summerfield.
Dyble went on to have a solo career, while McAuley recorded and worked with artists that varied from Viv Stanshall (of the Bonzo Dog Do Da Band) to Clodagh Rodgers, Jamaican reggae group The Heptones, Rick Wakeman and as musical director with Lonnie Donegan on guitar and fiddle.
