The artwork was achieved using coffee and a childrens’ paintset in southern Italy, where Tiny Ruins was based for some time during the second half of 2010.
The two first worked together in 2009 when Tiny Ruins provided the vocals, by way of home-recording and email, for a Singer of Songs’ track ‘Road to Nowhere’ on Old Happiness (his second album).
They did not meet in person until June 2010, when they embarked on a small tour of northern Spain, together with mutual friend Ana Franco (of Madrid outfit Coffee & Wine).
The EP runs at just over 27 minutes.
4 of the songs were written during, and in the days following, the tour of northern Spain. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
