It was released by Universal Records on April 7, 2006 in Europe and Central Asia. Tarkan began recording the album in 1997, following the success of his third Turkish release Ölürüm Sana that year.[1] Referring to the album's title, Tarkan said: "I think that my music is very unique [sic] and connects both worlds. That's the reason why I named my album Come Closer. I believe in cultural sharing, in the idea of we-belong-altogether. In my opinion, music should have no borders and we should all try to come closer".[2] In August 2005, a number of songs recorded for the album were leaked onto the internet by a Turkish DJ.[3] The leaked songs garnered considerable airplay in dance clubs in Turkey, before Tarkan's management took legal action against the DJ's playing the songs.[4] Contents [hide] 1 Track listing 2 Credits and personnel 3 Music videos 4 Charts 5 References 6 External links Track listing[edit source | editbeta] #SongComposerLyricistTime 1"Just Like That"Pete "Boxsta" Martin / TarkanPete "Boxsta" Martin / Tarkan3:39 2"In Your Eyes"Pete "Boxsta" Martin / TarkanPete "Boxsta" Martin / Tarkan3:36 3"Why Don't We (Aman Aman)" feat Wyclef JeanTarkan / Brian Kierulf / Josh SchwartzTarkan / Brian Kierulf / Josh Schwartz3:49 4"Mine"Jamie Hartman / Tina Harris / Tarkan / Ozan ÇolakoğluJamie Hartman / Tina Harris / Tarkan / Ozan Çolakoğlu3:19 5"Over"Pete "Boxsta" Martin / TarkanPete "Boxsta" Martin / Tarkan4:22 6"Start The Fire"Josh Schwartz / Tarkan / Brian KierulfJosh Schwartz / Tarkan / Brian Kierulf3:26 7"Shhh"Billy Mann / Tarkan / SupaflyasBilly Mann / Tarkan / Supaflyas3:34 8"Bounce"Tarkan / Devrim Karaoğlu / Pete "Boxsta" Martin / Elijah Wells / Lionel BerminghamTarkan / Devrim Karaoğlu / Pete "Boxsta" Martin / Elijah Wells / Lionel Bermingham3:45 9"Come Closer"Tarkan / Devrim Karaoğlu / David WernerTarkan / Devrim Karaoğlu / David Werner4:18 10"Don't Leave Me Alone"Josh Schwartz / Brian Kierulf / TarkanJosh Schwartz / Brian Kierulf / Tarkan4:02 11"Şıkıdım"Sezen Aksu / Tarkan / Josh Schwartz / Brian KierulfSezen Aksu / Tarkan / Josh Schwartz / Brian Kierulf3:55 12"I'm Gonna Make U Feel Good"Pete "Boxsta" Martin / Tina Harris / Steve LeePete "Boxsta" Martin / Tina Harris / Steve Lee3:54 13"Mass Confusion"David Werner / Tarkan / Ozan ÇolakoğluDavid Werner / Tarkan / Ozan Çolakoğlu4:09 14"Touch"Lester Mendez / Tarkan / Ty LacyLester Mendez / Tarkan / Ty Lacy4:18 15"If Only You Knew"Billy Mann / TarkanBilly Mann / Tarkan3:23 Come Closer US Remix Editio Tarkan was about to release his U.S Remix album featuring Wyclef Jean and Miri Ben-Ari.
