“Sun Eats Hours” is not an usual name. This typical Venetian saying means “don’t waste the time you have”'. The band truly puts this exortation into practice carrying out a continuous and intense activity from 1997 until today, achieving relevant notoriety both at home and outside Italy, becoming one of the best known Italian punk bands in the world. The band's story starts from a little town (Thiene) in the Vicenza province, in 1997. After playing hundreds of concerts and being present at the main national alternative festivals, the band publishes three albums and is chosen as the supporter of the last OFFSPRING European tour. The brand new album “The Last Ones”, the third of the series, has been released in September 2005 in Europe, Japan, South Africa e Brazil. Sun Eats Hours have always played a melodic hardcore that develops itself into more rock-sounding melodies.
The band has recently announced their name will officially change into "The Sun", which is simply the name most of their fans use to call them. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
