Shannon Wexelberg is a songwriter, artist & worship leader with a passion for the Lord’s presence and for helping lead other people there. Growing up with a worship-leading mother, Shannon was playing piano, singing, writing her first songs & helping on the worship team at church by the time she was 10 years old.
After graduating from Christ for the Nations and Dallas Baptist University, she has continued in this calling leading worship and ministering in music both internationally and at her local church, also joining forces with worship leaders & ministries such as Paul Baloche, Ross Parsley, Jared Anderson, The Desperation Band, Scott Krippayne, Revive Our Hearts & Day of Discovery. As a songwriter, Shannon’s songs have been utilized by Integrity Music, Maranatha! Music, LifeWay Worship, PBS, Discovery House Music, The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Worship Leader Magazine’s Song DISCovery and local churches around the world. She has recorded four worship artist projects of her own, which can be found at www.shannonwexelberg.com.
Most importantly and best of all, Shannon loves Jesus. She is grateful that through each and every difficult season of her life, God has proven Himself faithful time and again and has taught her more about Himself. It is during these times that she has most learned what worship really looks like. More than a song, it is a posture of heart and a lifestyle. Shannon loves to travel and minister, but more than anything she loves to be on the home front with her husband and six year old son, enjoying family, friends, church & life in the Rocky Mountains.
