1. Sandrine (full name Sandrine Daniels) is a pop/indie singer-songwriter from Sydney, Australia. She started performing professionally in 2003, and was quickly signed to Sony. She released her debut album Trigger in 2004, gaining postive reviews and a hit single, the title track Trigger. Encouraged by this success, she decided to move to the US and record her second album with producer Malcolm Burn, known for his work with Daniel Lanois, Bob Dylan and Emmylou Harris, among others. She released her second album, Dark Fades Into The Light in January 2008, which became a surprising, instant success in France, after hit single Where Do We Go was used in a French TV advertisement. Her music continued to become even more well known in Europe and the US through the placement of her songs in other commercials and numerous movies and television shows. Sandrine is currently working on recording her new album, tentatively titled 'Circles', again with Malcolm Burn producing. More Information from http://sandrinesongs.com/.
2. Sandrine (full name Sandrine Van Handenhoven, born July 3 1984) is a Belgian R&B/Pop singer, who came 3rd in the 2nd Belgian edition of Idol, in 2004. Her first single "Goosebumps" was an instant hit, peaking at #4 in the UltraTop 50 (the Flanders single chart). She released her first album "That's Me" in October 2005, followed by the two next singles, "Ass In Check" and "I Will Be Free". After releasing "Story Of Us" for the movie "Windkracht 10: Koksijde Rescue", she took some time off to start working on her second album. In early 2008, Sandrine competed in Eurosong 2008, the Belgian pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, with her comeback-single "I Feel The Same Way". Despite coming in second behind Ishtar, "I Feel The Same Way" became another hit, peaking at #2. A few months later, she released the lead single single of her second album, "Like A Bullet", which wasn't a major hit, but her album "Boosted²" still managed to peak at #10 in the charts. "Boosted²" is a double album, with first disc "In The Bar" consisting mostly of soul, while the second disc "In The Club" contains mostly R&B. Having released two singles from "In The Bar", rumor has it the third single will be an "In The Club" one. Read more on Last.fm.
