Rock decided to pursue a production career and worked with bands such as Motley Crue, Cher and Metallica, but he continued to keep in touch with Taylor and never lost his desire to write music and perform. So Rock and Taylor recruited Vancouver, British Columbia bar band veterans Steve Jack (vocals), Jamey Kosh (bass) and John Webster (keyboards). The band recorded off and on before releasing their debut album roughly three years after they had formed. The debut featured guest appearances from members of Bon Jovi, The Cult and Little Caesar.
