Bec Lavelle has been singing and dancing since the age of three. After attending the Brent Street School of Performing Arts Full time course in 1999, Bec toured Australia in various shows and continued to concentrate on her singing and songwriting skills. In 2001 Bec was chosen as the vocalist for a new drama on Channel Nine, titled "McLeods Daughters". The show is now the number one Australian drama on Television. The album from the first series which was released through Sony, has earned Bec a platinum album with sales in excess of 70,000 copies. The second album for McLeods Daughters has also just gone gold with sales in excess of 35,000 copies.
Bec has been fortunate enough to perform at Carols by Candlelight at the Melbourne Myer music bowl in 2003, and has just returned from a successful tour of Iraq and the Middle East entertaining Australian and Coalition Troops with the Australian Defence Force in May of this year.
Bec has also been busy songwriting her own material. She has published some of her early work with Shock Records and hopes to release a new single in the coming months.
