Influenced by the cinematic music of Zbigniew Preisner and John Barry, and the bass-heavy sounds of 60's Serge Gainsbourg, Radio Free Europe's recordings are rooted firmly in melody, with the organic warmth of live Rhodes and Guitar is set against melancholy, widescreen soundscapes, and a dark, low-fi atmosphere. Pollard is now a member of Kelly's Heroes.
