Quiritatio was a Norwegian hardcore/screamo band that formed in Sortland, Norway in 2005.They were formed under the inspiration of other hardcore bands, bands which you probably won't ever find on a TV-show, or a popular radio station. They understood quickly what had to be done, and what they had coming their way - labelling themselves as a hardcore band. Quiritatio was a Norwegian hardcore/screamo band that formed in Sortland, Norway in 2005.They were formed under the inspiration of other hardcore bands, bands which you probably won't ever find on a TV-show, or a popular radio station. They understood quickly what had to be done, and what they had coming their way - labelling themselves as a hardcore band.

At the Bodø Hardcore Festival, the band members realised they could create hardcore music like the bands they were so amazed by. They then proceeded to start playing chaotic music, which eventually got slower and slower.

Right after releasing their second and last full-length, the band decided to split in 2010. In 2011 they returned for a reunion show.
