Originally recorded while the band was still in high school, The Wanderer was a live studio recording performed at the Gizmo Recording Company in Silver Spring, MD. The album is a combination of two sessions occurring on March 25, 1997 and July 25, 1997. During the first session the following songs were recorded: Ladanday, That Was A Crazy Game Of Poker, Toy Store, and Get Away. Prior to The Wanderer these four songs were sold on a demo tape. After the second recording session, the band paid to have CD copies printed up, and then started selling them "out-of-trunk" style, so we don't have an exact release date. The Wanderer would later be re-released on February 20, 2001 when Everfine Records signed a deal with ADA (Alternative Distribution Alliance)
