He is the artistic director for various clubs in Milan and Sao Paulo and for some important Italian fashion designers like Armani and Rocco Barocco. Nu Braz’s musical influences come from jazz, Italian 60’s soundtracks and Nu Bossa. Guest artists involved include Josè Mascolo, former orchestra director in Sao Paulo, Rio De Janeiro and London, arranger for Shirley Bassey and Petula Clark, pianist with Toquinho for many years. The rhythm section is by the Lo Greco Bros (aka Soulstance) who work regularly with Gerardo Frisina (Schema), among the others. The lead singer is Dilene Ferraz, formerly of Brazilian Love Affair. The album includes 6 original compositions, 3 Brazilian covers (Djavan, Toquinho, Sergio Mendes) and 2 songs originally made popular by Emanuele’s mother, singer Anna D’Amico, in the 60’s. Nu Braz are also a live band with a line-up that varies from 4 to 6 elements. Read more on Last.fm.
