Nocturnal Bloodlust started as a deathcore band formed in September 2009 in Japan. Later they decided to be a Visual kei band, but still retain some of the Deathcore influences in their music. The band currentlu consists of vocalist 尋 (Hiro), bassist and backing vocalist Masa and drummer Natsu.
With this originality and the great live performance, it didn't take time for them be well known in Japanese music scene. Since their first show at Shinjuku Antiknock in October 2009, NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST has been unstoppable touring in Japan. As they gain their popularity, The band start playing in many big festivals including the Gekirock, Bloodaxe. They've also shared the stage with Heaven Shall Burn, Destrage and RISE TO FALL to name a few.
In January 2011, Their first Ep "Voices of the Apocalypse -Sins&Virtues-" was released in Japan. The EP distributed worldwide on iTunes Store. "Voices of the Apocalypse -Sins&Virtues-" is separated in 2 singles, and each single has different meaning as the title "-Sins&Virtues-" In Febuary 2012, NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST first Mini Album "Ivy" is going to be released from Raiz Music. With this 7 aggressive tracks, NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST is now ready for a new revolution.
In October 2018, the guitarists Cazqui and Daichi announced their departure from the band, with their last live show scheduled for December 2018.[8] The announcement came following their expressed disappointment in staff mishandling their band revenue.
In the first week of April 2019 it was announced that a new guitarist Lin would join the band with an addition of a new mini-album UNLEASH, releasing in July 2019.
It was announced August 2, 2019 that guitarist Lin was arrested because he was in possession of canabis. Future lives and tours were cancelled due to the scandal. It was also announced weeks later than Lin will depart from the band, according to the updated message on the band's offical website. No further information has been announced about the band's future member or performances.
