Murat Dalkılıç (born August 7, 1983 in İzmir, Turkey) is a Turkish pop singer. Dalkılıç began learning to play piano when he was very young, later starting his first band at fifteen. Dalkılıç is a graduate of Beykent University of Performing Arts. On October 10, 2008, his first single Kasaba (English: Town) was released to radio. On October 10, 2008, his first single Kasaba (English: Town) was released to radio. A music video, which was produced by Dokuz Sekiz, was later released on December 22, 2008. Dalkılıç's close friend Murat Boz also appeared in the music video for Kasaba. The song ultimately peaked at number one on the Billboard Turkey list, where it remained for seven weeks. After the success of Kasaba, Dalkılıç signed a recording contract with Sony Music.
