Morten Abel (born October, 15, 1962 in Bodø, grew up in Stavanger) is a Norwegian pop artist, one of Norway's most popular domestic artists. He started as lead singer in the Stavanger based band Mods, whose most famous song is "Tore Tang". He has also been the lead singer in The September When and released an album with the band Peltz.
