Track 17-20: Disc Two
This Is It is a two disc compilation album, featuring the music of Michael Jackson, coinciding with the release of Michael Jackson's This Is It, a concert film documenting Jackson's rehearsals for a concert series of the same name. It was released on the 26th of October 2009 worldwide.
The first disc will consist of original album masters of some of Jackson's biggest hits, arranged in the same sequence as they appear in the film, and ends with two versions of the previously unreleased song "This Is It". The song also features in the film's closing sequence, and includes backing vocals by members of The Jacksons.
The second disc will include unreleased versions of some of Michael Jackson's classic hits. It also includes a spoken word poem by Jackson, titled "Planet Earth", which was originally printed in the liner notes of the Dangerous album.
