Originally released in 1989, Affection is Lisa Stansfield's debut album as a solo artist, and comprises 13 tracks. In 2003, a completely remastered CD version was released both on its own as well as part of a 6-CD boxed set, The Complete Collection, which included four bonus tracks not found in the original 13-track release:
