Her debut single, a cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" went straight to number one in the Dutch Top 40. Before Lisa participated in X Factor she was in a band called Left Lane Lisa which was quite popular in her hometown and in some other parts of the Netherlands. Ironically, "Hallelujah" was also used on the United Kingdom's The X Factor, and was released as the first single of British winner Alexandra Burke. The single 'Hallelujah' went double platinum within one month, selling over 100,000 copies as of today. Lisa is working on her debut album. The first single of her new album is named: No Good For Me.
