Lam Rim have just released their second album, Lost in Sane (February 2011), which was released exclusively as an audio CD and digital download from the official website and became available in iTunes and Amazon 1 March, 2011. It was released on the record label Wine Box Music and is a self-produced project, incorporating the Galician Philharmonic Orchestra and the backing vocals of Lucía Imán. Joâo Mirat was the producer and Oscar Vinader was the sound engineer.
Their first studio album, Eleven Pieces of Something, was released as a free digital download from their official website in 2008. It became more successful in Spain when four songs from the album, Deep Inside, I Cry, I'm Missing You and Release, became regular parts of the soundtrack to the Telecinco TV drama series, La Pecera de Eva.
Their music has featured on radio programs on Spain’s national Radio 3, the television program No Solo Música, they performed in the music festival FESTIMAD 98, the Villa de Mostoles pop festival and supported Dover in concert in Valladolid. Lam Rim fuse jazz, latin and soul with an alternative pop-rock sound, all of which is deftly mixed and mastered in the current album thanks to the work of José Vinader, Goya award-winner for his soundtrack to The Other Side Of the Bed (2002).
