He was one of the musical phenomena known and spectacular in Spain in the 1970's and early 80's, for their particular and original artistic project based on social and political criticism ever since the parody and humor, and bold and crazy performances.
Published 38 LPs between 1969 and 1989, always singing in Catalan, in spite of the difficulties was the Catalan language until 1978, when democracy was restored in Spain. Sing, and triumph in Catalan has always been one of the ways in which La Trinca fought against the Franco regime, in addition to the smart message, even while critics, working almost always found ways to circumvent censorship under Franco.
After his many appearances on television sets in 1986 conducted a program of its own ("No passa res!", Literally "Nothing happens") on TV3, which was a huge ratings success, and they reported an Ondas Award for television.
1987 was a pivotal year in the career of the trio of Canet de Mar. This year they published the last album of his career ("Marr") and founded a production company Audiovisual: Gestmusic. It was the year that would turn around their careers, leaving the music and the stage to engage in television production from behind the cameras.
Gestmusic created at a key moment in the Spanish audiovisual industry, agreed the arrival of private television and the proliferation of regional and local television.
