1) L.A.M.F. Is a finnish band that was formed in 1992, in Helsinki. They mainly perform Punk.
Their latest studio album was released in 1997, with little to no news on a new album coming. As it is, the band is considered to be on hiatus.

2) L.A.M.F. was a side project of Julian Cope. Cope and collaborators released one album, Ambient Metal, in 2001 via his website http://www.headheritage.co.uk.

Collaborators included Thighpaulsandra, Doggen and Kevlar (of Brain Donor and Spiritualized), and others.

Cope's own website describes the project as such "Along with some heavy friends of theirs, Brain Donor and Queen Elizabeth have stripped away the darkness of heavy metal to reveal a drummerless ancient landscape of Van Halen-esque riffs and freebass clatter.
