The album features guest appearances by Cheap Trick members Robin Zander and Rick Nielsen. In 2006, Zander and Nielsen would also appear on the similarly titled Cocked and Loaded by the Revolting Cocks.
Cocked & Loaded is featured at No. 27 in Rolling Stone magazine's list of 50 Greatest Hair Metal Albums of All Time.
