For his 2002 debut "Go For Broke", he was signed to Epic Records (A partner of Sony BMG); The album was released in Canada, Germany, France and Scandinavia and sold around 25,000 copies worldwide in 2003. However he was dropped by Sony after failing to sell enought copies. He is now signed to Linus Entertainment, a leading Canadian independant record label distributed by Universal Records, his second record "Broke" was released on June 28, 2005.
Kazzer was nominated for New Artist of the Year at the 2004 Juno Awards.
