The band Jungle Jam appeared in January 2005. The band consists of Maria Rubanovskaya (singer), Sergey Ivanov (drums), Gleb Oleynic (guitar) , Pavel Azarov (bass).
Jungle Jam is an ideal mix of rock’n’roll, black rhythm’n’blues and British rock. The band offers to listeners new musical arrangements of well-known songs by Jimmy Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Albert King, Depeche Mode, Queen, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry and others. The Jungle Jam band – is that rare unit, when each musician has , from one side, its’ own individuality and a unique mentality and, from another side, all together they represent joint creative field, that can excite any public. In Summer 2005 the band got People’’s Choice Award at International Folk-Blues Festival “Delta of Neva”, in 2006 they got the Gold Medal at the same Festival.
