After his debut when he was 17 years old, Bode came to record hundreds of songs on the gramophone, many of them was his own compliments. The life of Johnny Bode is one of the most amazing in Swedish history of music. Over and over again when his career was demolished, he got able to rise and build a new career, only to find it ruined by himself shortly after.
Johnny Bode lived the main part of his life far more detailed that he really could afford. He was a known figure in those days of show biz and was liked because his generous style on the pubs. Even the fact that he many times was broke didn't stop him. He was an master in to sneak out the backdoor and let others to pay his debts. Bode's run away lifestyle many times led himself into criminality and after many cases of fraud, he was declared of incapacity and judged to psychiatric care on the mental hospital of St. Sigfrid in Växjö, Sweden.
