Joe 90 is a roots rock band which was formed from a group based New York City, but was later relocated to Los Angeles. The band members include Gary DeRosa, Adam Hamilton, Craig Ruda and Chris Seefried. Seefried and Hamilton would go on to pen "Sleeping Pill" a song which was featured on a CD Sampler released by Album Network, a trade magazine. The song was credited to a band known as "The Amazing Adventures of Joe 90" — a pseudonym for the duo. The name was a send-up to the 1968 animated television series entitled Joe 90. However, their audience was not in on the joke, and repeatedly inquired about Joe 90. They eventually took on the name to avoid any further elaboration. Read more on Last.fm.
