With the release of her new album "The Light of The Sun' release June 21, 2011 she worked with multiple artists, such as Anthony Hamilton, Eve (rapper) and Paul Wall. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 135,000 copies in its first week. It became Scott's first US number-one album and produced two singles, including the Billboard R&B hit "So in Love".
