With a musical career spanning more than two decades, sales topping Two Million, Eight Hundred Thousand and You Tube hits nearing the Two Million mark, Jack Radics’ reputation as an ambassador of music has not only been tested, proven and earned: It belongs to him!
Radics is a distinguished Band Leader, Solo Artist, Songwriter, and Music Producer/Arranger. Besides collaborating with a phenomenal list of prominent musicians and producers, he is also credited with sculpting the vanguard of a bright and new foray into "Soul/Pop & Reggae." A historical event! Jack Radics spearheads a group of artists who combine the variants of Reggae and other genres; and who have gone on to excel on the international stage. Additionally, he is one of (if not the only) the few Jamaican artists to have been signed by five major labels - Island, Sony, Jive, EMI, and RCA -.
Jack released his first solo album in 1991. Meanwhile, there were a half-dozen more on various labels, including "Open Rebuke" and which Black Music Magazine nominated as best "Reggae Album" of Nineteen Hundred and Ninety-Four. The previous year, Radics, together with Chaka Demus & Pliers had landed his first No.1 hit, "Twist and Shout", scoring platinum and his entry into the "Guinness Book of Records."
His "Rhythm'n'Pop" (a free style fusion where he combines Pop, Soul & Reggae), has solidified his reputation as “King of The Imaginative Musical Terrain”. A style that is most evident in the album, "Love & Laughter " and his hit singles, " No Matter " and "That's Life". The latter two were chart toppers not only in Germany, Austria and Switzerland but also in sunny South Africa. Utilizing the same approach to songwriting has reaped phenomenal results. Most of the multi platinum hits by “Gentleman”, Germany’s Reggae sensation and the genre’s biggest were penned by Jack Radics.
Jacks' irresistible stage performances never fail to impress the critics. “Was that inspiring, confident, sonorous voice not always amongst us?" (EMI Records). Singles from his “Way 2 Long” album (set for global release in Two Thousand and Fifteen) are already charting in The United States and Europe. Tours are being finalized for its support. Not soon enough! From the dancehalls of Jamaica and New York, to the stages of Africa and “The Montreux Jazz Festival” in Europe, Jack Radics demonstrates his versatility, his extraordinary talent and his ability to please every sector of the universal music fraternity.
