Inoran (井上清信 - Inoue Kiyonobu) is a Japanese rhythm guitarist, singer-songwriter, and record producer, born on September 29, 1970 in Hadano, Kanagawa, Japan. He has shown to be one of the most gifted and inspired Japanese (pop) rock artists, both in a band or solo. His music varies from instrumental, ambient, trip hop, to various genres of rock music.
Along his middle-high school friend Jun Onose ( J), he is the main founder of the Japanese rock band LUNA SEA, formed in 1989. Inoran was the rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist. When the band had a one year break in 1997, he collaborated with various artists and released his debut album. The band would last until 2000, when they decided to pursue their solo careers and perhaps rejoin. In 2007 and 2008 they made two live performances and since of 2010 Inoran is again active with the band.
In 2001 co-founded alternative-pop rock band FAKE? with singer Ken Lloyd. They released several studio albums with average success, and left the band in 2005.
In 2005 co founded pop rock band Tourbillon with fellow singer 河村隆一 (Ryuichi Kawamura), and keyboardist Hiroaki Hayama. They released several singles, and two studio albums until 2006, when it was disbanded.
In 2001 was Inoran first solo concert, and from 2004 to regularly tour solo and with a band is involved with. Hes concerts incorporate both visuality and musicality, and were released several dvd's. Since 1997 has released several singles, and ten studio albums, of which six full-lenght albums: 想 (Sô) , 1997 Fragment , 2001 photograph , 2006 ニライカナイ (Niraikanai) , 2007 apocalypse , 2008 Watercolor , 2010, Dive youth, Sonik dive , 2012, Beautiful Now , 2015, two mini album: Teardrop , 2011 (March 30th) Somewhere , 2014 and one instrumental-dance album: Shadow , 2008
