2) Indonesian modern rock/alternative metal band, In Memoriam was formed at the UNSADA Campus, Jakarta, Indonesia. Since the beginning, they intended to create a unique form of music that has never been played before. Formerly started with the name Dimensi, they began combining elements of metal, 'Seattle-sound', classical with gothic elements. After hearing about the prog scene in Indonesia called Indonesian Progressive Society, led by Andy Julias, they soon joined the movement and perform at the scene's various events. The name was changed to In Memoriam to fit their musical 'dark' nuances and strong ambition. In 2003 they released their first album under the PRS label, distributed by SONY Music Indonesia, the album entitled 'The Ultimate Terrorizing Auro of Unlogic Mind (SONY/PRS) After some time, they've gone through line-up change. Bahar, the former vocalist decided to quit the band and after some time they got DIdi to take the role, and soon after that, they continue to perform as a new solid team. Now, they already have enogh materials to be released as their follow up album. The music is more focused, heavy, melodic, quirky and majestic at the same time. It will be hard to narrowly categorized the music to a certain genre, because it has mixtures of metal, carousel-like comedy, classical, rap and gothic elements, so it will be called the unique In Memoriam sound.
