During the following years he grew as a performing artist both as a single voice with piano and accompanied by a powerful band with a prominent brass section. In 2003 Huw Chiswell returned with ‘Dere Nawr’- his fourth solo album following in the footsteps of ‘Rhywbeth o’i le’, ‘Rhywun yn gadael’ and ‘Cameo Man’. All 11 tracks on ‘Dere Nawr’ have been written by Huw with special contributions by some of Wales’ most talented musicians – Aran Amhun (drums), Pete Hurley (bass) and Jonathan Thomas (steel guitar). The CD was produced by Richard Dunn, who recently toured with Van Morrison. ‘Dere Nawr’ is a mixture of songs written for either the piano or the guitar but all songs differ in style and tempo, with a hint of country running through the whole album. SAIN also publishes a collection of his best songs in book form with full piano accompaniment. Read more on Last.fm.
