Much of The Bachelor was in fact recorded between 1993 and 1995, a period during which Ginuwine, Timbaland, and associates such as Missy Elliott and Magoo all worked as members of DeVante Swing's Swing Mob collective. The group was made to constantly practice and write, often contributing writing and production to tracks for DeVante's group Jodeci.
