Funda Arar (b. 1975) is a Turkish pop/rock/folk singer. Arar was born on 8th April 1975 in Ankara, where she spent her early childhood, later moving to Muğla and Adapazarı. Alagül and Sevda Yanığı, her third and fourth albums, came out in 2002 and 2003 respectively, followed after a break by Son dans in 2005.
In 2008 she released Rüya, an album of Turkish classical music, in which she sang songs in a variety of makams such as Hicaz, Rast, Hüzzam, Muhayyerkürdî, Uşşak, Kürdîlihicazkâr, and Nihavend.
