Danish duo FOSSILS set out to create a musical expression, which cuts to the bone. The result is a hard, heavy and complex expression that is based exclusively on bass and drums. The music can be characterized as an intense up-tempo rock, which draws on elements from punk and metal.
First record “Meat Rush" with producer team Q & Kned (Beta Satan, Figurines, The Malpractice and others) was released in November 2010 on Mastermind Records. FOSSILS were one of the Danish runner-up groups for the final nomination for the Nordic Music Prize in 2010.
Over the years FOSSILS have established themselves as a reputable and effective liveact and have over the last two years played with Danish names like Iceage, De Høje Hæle, Thulebasen, Moonless and Cola Freaks, and with international names such as the aforementioned Health (U.S.), Millions (U.S.), Liturgy (U.S.), Deathcrush (NO) and Zu (Ita).
