FOJE was one of the most popular alternative rock bands in Lithuania. It was formed in one of the Vilnius high schools by Andrius Mamontovas, Arnoldas Lukošius and Darius Tarasevičius in 1983 under the name of "Sunki Muzika". Few months later Algis Kriščiūnas also joined the band. In 1984 it was renamed to FOJE. They released 14 albums during 1983-1997. The band won all the possible music awards in Lithuania. It was formed in one of the Vilnius high schools by Andrius Mamontovas, Arnoldas Lukošius and Darius Tarasevičius in 1983 under the name of "Sunki Muzika". Few months later Algis Kriščiūnas also joined the band. In 1984 it was renamed to FOJE. They released 14 albums during 1983-1997. The band won all the possible music awards in Lithuania. FOJE toured European and American venues. In 1997 the band finally decided to break up and performed 3 huge concerts in Lithuanian cities Klaipėda, Kaunas, and Vilnius. The last show in Vilnius had an audience of over 60,000 people. It is still a record of all times in Lithuania.
