Faithdown is a four-piece melodic alternative rock band with Jakson on vocals, Tones on guitar, Nick on drums and Paolo on bass. Formed in 2002 by brothers Nick and Tones, the foundation of the band was quickly solidified when they invited long-time friend, Paolo, to join them. Finding the right front-man for the band did not occur overnight and in late Fall 2005, they found a perfect fit in Jakson to complete Faithdown as you see and hear it today. Since then, the guys have spent countless hours songwriting, rehearsing and putting their stamp of big hooks and hard-hitting songs to the test on the local club scene. Time after time, people are blown away by the weight and energy of their live show and it's hard to deny the sheer raw talent of the band when seeing them live on stage for the first time.
The band's hard work and strong commitment to their music paid off when they teamed up with Damage Entertainment Records owners/producers Doug Adams (CEO & President- Pyrotek Special Effects Inc- Metallica, Michael Jackson -RIP-, Foo Fighters, Green Day, The Killers, Blink-182, KISS, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Korn, Limp Bizkit) and Mike Gillies (Grammy-nominated engineer and ProTools 'Guru'- Metallica, Motley Crue, Bryan Adams, Willie Nelson) to work on their debut record in 2009. The album was mastered by Andrew Mendelson (Willie Nelson, George Jones, Kenny Chesney, Korn) in Nashville, TN at Georgetown Mastering on Music Row. The album release plans are currently being worked out and the band looks forward to sharing their debut album with the world.
The band recently released the music video for their first single “Red Circles” for the world to see on YouTube and links can be found on their Myspace and Facebook pages. The video was directed by Pat Paulson (Metallica) with light direction by Bryan Hartley (Trans Siberian Orchestra, NIN, Marilyn Manson, Pantera, Motley Crue, Aerosmith, KISS, Deep Purple).
With their debut album complete and the music video for their first single “Red Circles” recently released, Faithdown is ready to bring their music to the world and are prepared to do anything and everything it takes to do so. They know it will require countless hours of hard work and commitment, something they're already very used to. Keep your ears and eyes open for Faithdown in 2010.
