He sang during Cenaclul Flacara sessions since 1984, along with Ghiţă Cucui and Liviu Robu in a band called Notorius. He went to serve the army and on returning, he discovered that Cenaclul Flacara no longer existed. In 1992 he resumed his activity as a member of Cenaclul Flacara, touring and performing in concerts all over the country until 2000, when this group of artists disappeared from the Romanian music scene.
Emeric Imre continues to promote folk music. He had a major contribution in the creation of the "Folk You" music festival. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
