Violinist Dave Arbus played on The Who's song "Baba O'Riley". According to the Jig A Jig Songfacts, Jig A Jig was their only hit single in the UK.
* A Boston band East of Eden arose from the ashes of a very popular, early-80s Boston Band called Adventure Set. They were signed by Capitol Records on the basis of a demo tape. Their management was located in Ardmore, PA. The Band: Cinde Lager - vocals & additional keyboards Steve Monaban - bass Forest Padgett - drums Eric Schermerborn - guitars J. McGill Winston - keyboards Alan Whetton - Saxapone on Sapphire Skies Forrest Padgett and Steve Monaghan are still working musicians in the Boston area. Forrest also teaches drums at a local music store in framingham.
