In 2002, she found her own publishing edition "Rotschopf", in 2003 she worked for "Hot Action Records", the record company of Die Ärzte.
In the summer of 2004, Diane started recording her first solo album in German with her drummer, Dog Keßler. "Diane – das Album" was released in 2005. The Album as well as the first single "Das Beste" were in the German charts for several weeks. In the same year, she was nominated "best female pop national" at the German Radio Awards.
