Raised in a Christian family, the Lord's word has always been present in Davi Sacer's life. Son and grandson of Evangelic Pastors, he is the youngest child in an eleven brothers family. With six months old, Davi had Polio what prevented him from walking, but in a prayer meeting two and a half years later a miracle occured: Among worship to the Lord, the little three years old Davi started walking.
From the teaching received from his parents, (Pastor Abrahão and his mother, Maria dos Anjos), Davi started to develop his musical ministration at eight years old, when his older brother found him singing. At seventeen, Davi joined JOCUM (Jovens Com Uma Missão - in english: Youth With A Mission), where stayed for two years. In a mission, in 1994, Davi took part in the recording of the album "Minha Porção", where his first songs were recorded. Was also in JOCUM that Davi met his wife Verônica Sacer who also belonged to the group. From 1997 to 2000, both Davi and his wife belonged to the Tabernacle of David with Pastor Claudio Claro, who they recorded two albuns with: "10 Anos e Espírito Santo", making a colaboration in the songs "Profetiza" and "Glória e Aleluia". In 2003, starting the group "Toque no Altar", Davi has made clear his vocation to praise the Lord. At late 2007 davi Sacer and other musicians left "Toque no Altar" and formed the group "Trazendo a Arca". In the end of 2008 Davi released his first solo record, titled "Deus Não Falhará".
