"DaHuawadaMeierundi" (also "Da Huawa, da Meier und I", "Huber, Meier and me") consisting of Christian Maier ("Da Huawa"), Matthias Meier ("da Meier") and Siegi Mühlbauer ("I") is a musical cabaret band from Lower Bavaria and Upper Palatinate, Bavaria. They were founded in 1999 and tour as "Bavarian Boygroup" through Bavaria and Austria. Siegi studied Drums in Vienna. Their first gigs were held at Liederbühne Robingson in Runding/Vierau - one of the oldest cabaret stages in Bavaria - in the home town of Matthias and Siegi. They dedicated this town their Song "Blauer See". In 2005 they reached the third prize in well known contest "Das Passauer Scharfrichterbeil"
With more than 100 concert a year they are now one of the most successful musical cabaret bands in Bavaria. Many songs like "Bayernland" and "Ohne Hos'n, ohne Schuah" are well known in the Southern part of Germany. The content is very different. Sometimes honest, sometimes ironic and somtimes really acid-tongued. They play together for morge than five years and their shows increased the last two years wonderfully and drastically. Christian (Huawa) Maier from Unterunsbach, Matthias Meier from Rieding und Siegi Muehlbauer from Kothmaissling are three young guys out of small villages. “Da Huawa” mainly plays the guitar but also other instruments, “Da Meier” does all belows and “I” does the rythm. With trumpets, tenorhorn, melodika, glockenspiel, drums and "Schepperler" and of course the legendary "Mörtelkübelbass" they have a really mixed instrumentation. Besides that they have a tour called "Irish-Bairisch" ("Irish-Bavarian") where they have gigs with the Irish band Na Ciotogi.
