Cowboy Mouth's newest EP, "Mardi Gras", consists of classics from Carnival season, including Professor Longhair's "Go To The Mardi Gras", James "Sugar Boy" Crawford's "Iko Iko", Al Johnson's "Carnival Time" and a medley of Ernie K-Doe's "Hurry Up And Know It" and "Make You Love Me". The album kicks it up a notch by featuring horns from NOLA's own Bonerama! Closing out the album is a stripped down, acoustic version of their Voodoo Shoppe era, post-Katrina ballad "The Avenue".
