Coffee & Wine is leaded by Ana Franco, one of the best female voices in the independent Spanish scene. The project is based on pop melodies that drinks from folk, country and Americana roots. After many gigs and some demos (included the EP From the Roofs which was re-released on 2017) the band makes its debut with the album From the Ground (2011), recorded and produced by Yuri Méndez (Pajaro Sunrise) and Coffee & Wine.
After almost eight years playing (mostly acoustic shows) and writing new songs, Coffee & Wine releases a new record, Hirundinidae (the family name of birds like swallows and swifts.) These ten new songs have been recorded in El Lado Izquierdo (Madrid) and mixed in Portland by Adam Selzer.
The band has shared stage with artists like George Ezra, Blind Pilot, The Primitives, Tiny Ruins, A Singer Of Songs, etc. It has also appeared in TV shows like Física o Química or Cites and the documentary Auto, directed by Luis Alfaro. In the last few years, Ana has also written two songs for Sergio de la Puente's projects (the song Cabot Cove and Sin Fin Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, directed by Alenda Brothers).
