Forbidden is the Eighteenth Studio Album released in 1995 by English Heavy Metal Band Black Sabbath.
Its the Final album to feature the Tony Martin Era Members, Tony Martin (Vocals), Tony Iommi (Guitar), Neil Murray (Bass), Cozy Powell (Drums) and Geoff Nicholls (Keyboards). Its also the final Studio Album released by the band until the Ozzy Era reunited in 2013 and released the No.1 Album "13".
This album is not favoured among many fans, due to the production and Mixing of the album, which was handled by Ernie C. The guitarist of Rap Metal band Body Count, due to this Ice-T (BC's Vocalist) made a guest appearance on the album on a song called "Illusion of Power".
Tony Martin has stated that he was unsure whether he was actually gonna be the Vocalist for the album, and thought that Ice-T was going to front the band. None of the Band members were happy with the finished product and Cozy Powell was definitely unhappy as Ernie C.tried getting Cozy to change his Drum style to more modern and "hip" style of drumming at the time.
This album is dubbed by fans as the album that should be Forbidden, and Fans also dubbed Black Sabbath as Rap Sabbath due to Ernie C.and Ice-T. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
