Particularly impressive were the early singles "Bivouac", "Slack" (1992) and "Good Day Song" (1993). Support slots with Fugazi, Therapy? and Sugar, then a co-headlining tour with Jacob's Mouse, preceded the group's appearance at the Phoenix and Reading Festivals of 1993. Bivouac then toured Europe with the Jesus Lizard, who described them as "the best goddam band in Britain". In 1994 they consolidated their position in the US market with tours alongside Sub Pop Records act Seaweed, while Keith York (ex-Doctor Phibes And The House Of Wax Equations) became the group's new drummer. A second album finally arrived in 1995, by which time much of the buzz surrounding the band had unfortunately, dissipated. Yeadon has gone on to front a new band called The Wireless stores.
